MEETING  CHANGING  WOMAN  (True Story)

I was on the slopes of Pedernal (the Northern New Mexico high mesas), sitting on the porch of the caretaker's cottage and sipping my morning coffee.  All of a sudden the trees to my left started swirling in a clockwise fashion.  While the rest of the world stood still, I watched as I sipped my coffee.  I was in awe as the movement of energy beckoned to me somehow.  I listened closely, and it was as if I heard a whisper there.

I had heard of the Legend of Changing Woman and that she still walked these hills.  "Who else could it be?" I thought.  So I said, "Good morning, thank you for coming to me."

It was then that the wind left the trees and swirled into a whirlwind, making its way down to the corral and lifting the dirt to dance within it.  The horses and the donkeys gave it credence as I toasted its elaborate display.  "Come back to see me again" I said.  And Changing Woman changed me then.

I sat and pondered as I gazed upon the flattened flint rock of the peak of Pedernal.  I no longer wondered, "Why am I here?"  I just sighed and knew, I would be going then.  And so it was in a few days fashion, that my path was further revealed to me.  I didn't question, but took it in stride that Changing Woman had put me in the lead.

I turned to thank her then as the harsh winds blew.  I had come as one person, and was leaving as another.  Her purpose served then, I heard her sigh in the wind …

"I will be watching over you."

Ahhhh,

As I read your story, I heard the sound of Changing Woman, Deb.  I also felt your calmness in it all.  Very interesting that this is twice I've heard tones — first in Peg's story the other day, and now this.  I don't pick and choose, Source picks and chooses for me. LOL  But I'm wondering if it means there's something of particular "note" to pay attention to, or if there is a certain "chord" that is struck within the mixture of words?  Hmmmm… very fascinating!  Anyway, sending love and appreciation for your contribution. What a magical encounter, Deb.  More!!

Hmmmm, Stewart.  It would be interesting to hear the tones that you are receiving from "The Changing Woman".  Will be looking forward to that.
