Q. I don’t get any results when I use the search function:
- Words that are commonly used by Stewart St. John Light.com such as “frequency” may not return desired results.
- Small words such as “the” or “you” will be ignored.
- Please remember that items will be searched exactly as they are typed.
Q. The Free audio samples and MP3 Downloads don’t work for me. Help!
- Visit Adobe.com and download the latest flash player for your browser if you are having problems listening to the streaming audio clips.
- Apple’s iTunes will allow you to listen to the free mp3 downloads and free audio samples from Stewart St. John Light.com. You can download iTunes for free by visiting the Apple.com website.
- For PC users the Windows Media Player plugin can be a better option. You can download a free copy at the Microsoft.com.
- If you have a dial-up connection it may take a while to download audio and video clips. Stewart St. John Light.com has been designed for broadband connections.
Q. I’m not getting The Love Letter Newsletter & Updates emails.
- Go to your email address book program and add newsletter@stewartstjohnlight.com.
Q. When I try to place an order, I’m told my shipping is incorrect.
- Be sure to fill in all fields correctly. For international orders (not in the US) be sure to select “Outside US” for the State/Province field and fill in the “Other State/Province” field. You must fill in the Billing Address as well.
Q. I add items to my shopping basket, but when I try to check out, the basket is empty.
- Most likely you have a cookie problem.
- If you are using Internet Explorer and you have your Privacy Settings set higher than medium-high, you may be losing the cookie that the Stewart St. John Light.com store uses to track your shopping cart. We suggest that you turn down your security settings to Medium and try again. Privacy settings are accessed by the Tool menu, Internet Options, click “Privacy” tab, and move the sliding bar until it says “Medium”
- If this is not the problem, then it’s possible that a third-party security software such as Norton Security or ZoneAlarm is blocking the cookie. You will have to look in your security software’s settings to determine how to enable cookies for our site.
Q. When I insert a CD from Stewart St. John Light.com into my computer, why are the track titles incorrect or missing?
- When you have an active connection to the internet and you insert a CD into your computer, media players such as iTunes will automatically try to access Gracenote® Media Recognition Service which will all track information and In some cases album artwork. We realize that this information isn’t being pulled correctly from the Gracenote® Media Recognition Service but we are in contact with Gracenote® for their remedy. Be assured that incorrect track titles do not affect the actual CD playback in any way. You will be hearing the correct CD with the tracks that are labeled on it even if the information displayed on the computer or listening device is incorrect.
Q. Can the SSJL staff subscribe, unsubscribe or change my subscription preferences for me?
- No it’s not possible for the SSJL staff to subscribe, unsubscribe or change your email addresses or subscription preferences for the Source Frequency Newsletter & Updates. To unsubscribe or to change your subscription preferences, click the link located at the bottom of the Source Frequency Newsletter & Updates delivered to your email. To subscribe to the Source Frequency Newsletter & Updates simply fill in your name and email address located in the sidebar of every page on the Stewart St. John Light.com website.
